Aaron & Jessica’s Buggy Rides is a family owned business, operated by Amish, Brethren, and Mennonites (our family settled here in 1757). You can tour a real, private Amish dairy farm (Mon-Sat). Get “insider information” from experienced drivers on everything you see on your tour…pass Amish schools, shops, farm stands, and businesses. We ride rain or shine. AMISH EXPERIENCE THEATER

“Jacob’s Choice” is an entertaining and educational way to understand and learn about “growing up Amish.” In a magical story-telling setting, you become part of the emotional struggle of the Fisher family to preserve more than 400 years of Amish traditions and values. Five viewing screens, a 3-D set, and special effects fully immerse you in this unforgettable journey. “Jacob’s Choice” is a must-see experience for every visitor who wants to discover what it means to be Amish. AMISH FARMLAND TOURS

Experience the unspoiled backroads beauty of our spectacular Amish farmlands with a local, certified guide. A stop will be made at an Amish roadside stand, craft shop, or business. Observe the Amish at work and play as your 14-passenger mini-shuttle takes you by farms, cottage industries, and one-room schools. Learn about farming, weddings, education, and many other aspects of the culture of our ever-changing Amish neighbors. Tours at 10am, noon, and 2:00pm. VISIT IN PERSON TOUR

This officially designated “Heritage Tour” is a rare opportunity to meet and talk to the Amish personally. On this exclusive tour, you will go right into the barn on an Amish farm at milking time, go “behind the scenes” with an Amish artisan at his workplace, and then enjoy a personal visit and conversation right in an Amish home. It’s the interaction with the Amish that many visitors seek, but rarely experience. Limited to 14 guests. Duration is approx. 3 hours. Lancaster County has designated this an official Heritage Tour. Explore the Amish Country Homestead’s nine-room Amish house and one-room school. Your guide explains Amish customs, dress, and adapting to life without electricity. It’s the county’s only designated “Heritage Site” Amish house tour. Join us as we unravel the “riddles” of Amish culture. Sit at authentic Amish desks and learn how eighth grades are taught in one room by one teacher! This is the only Amish house tour designated an official Heritage Site by Lancaster County. It started in 1929 when Anna Miller served chicken & waffles to truckers as her husband repaired their rigs. It was a simple dish, but it was always served up with a smile. Today our tried & true recipes may not be as simple, but they are prepared with the freshest ingredients…and they are still served up with a smile. Cooked from scratch. At Miller’s, we cook from scratch and prepare meals that you want to tell your friends about. That includes our baked goods fresh from Miller's Bakery. We’re USA 10Best Buffet, AAA Recommended, and Reader’s Choice. Miller’s Smorgasbord Dining options. We offer our world-famous all-you-can-eat traditional smorgasbord that includes a carving station, shrimp station, large number of entrees, salad bar and extensive dessert bar.
